ALCOHOL

Bar consumption represents is a vital part of revenue for the financial sustainability of the festival. Therefore, we kindly ask you to avoid bringing alcoholic beverages to the festival site. If you bring any, they will only be allowed in reasonable amounts, in plastic bottles, and exclusively in the camping/glamping area.
On the stage and chill-out areas, all consumption of beverages must be through our bars. We will keep our prices fair.


SAFER SPACE POLICY

We wish for everyone to feel welcome and respected, independently of the race, religion, gender, age, background or sexual orientation. Behaviours like homophobia, racism, xenophobia, agressivness or sexual harassment will not be tolerated and the organizers reserve themselves the right to remove from the premises all those who engage in these conducts.

ANIMALS

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our event, it won't be possible to bring your pet.

FIRE

It is strictly forbidden to make fires of any type. Be careful with your cigarette buts and put them on the ashtrays.

PAYMENTS

We will accept cash or card payments. There will be no ATM machine on-site so please bring enough cash for your stay.

WATER

Drinking water is available for free at the water points spread across the site. Use it wisely.

TOBACCO

We advise you to buy it beforehand. We are not sure if we will manage to sell tobacco on site.

FOOD

A food court will be available with various offers from traditional Portuguese comfort food to snacks, pizzas, fruits, healthy, vegan and vegetarian options.

LEAVE NO TRACE ︎

We expect you to leave the festival site and its surroundings in the same conditions you found them. Collect your waste properly, don't throw cigarette buts to the floor, respect nature, respect all the other festival attendees and their privacy. Leave only good vibes and positivity.


DAM/LAKE

The dam is a precious and natural water reserve that serves the local communities and is home to a large variety of species. Therefore it is not a washing area and even less a toilet!

WEATHER

The weather in the first weeks of September tends to be around 10-29ºC.
It gets quite hot under the sun during the day, but at night the temperatures might be low. Bring fresh clothing for the daytime and warm clothes for the night. If you are camping, bring an extra blanket!

SWIMMING

Swim with cautious, sober and only during the day. During the night it is strictly forbidden to swim.

CAR PARKING

There will be a car parking area for all festival attendees. Although, we encourage you to share the ride with friends or other people that might need it or even use our shuttle service. The fewer cars, the better.

MOTORHOME PARKING

There will be dedicated parking for motorhomes. Toilets and showers will be shared with the camping site.

DISABILITY ACCESS

All disabled ravers are welcome at Basilar. Please bear in mind that the site will have some areas with terrain that may make access challenging. Therefore we will offer 1 ticket for the caretaker/helper for free. If you have any doubts regarding the festival site, please get in touch via geral@basilarfestival.com

SEARCH POLICY

For the safety of our customers and staff, security will conduct bag searches upon entry. Please do not attempt to bring any of the following items inside the event: any type of liquids, fireworks, laser pens, flares, alcohol, illicit drugs, legal highs (including nitrous oxide), animals (except for guide dogs) or anything that could be considered an offensive weapon.

LIABILITY

You enter the site at your own risk and responsibility. Basilar cannot be held accountable for any material damage that may occur on the site.
